We can evaluate your symptoms and provide a treatment plan which may include over-the-counter or prescription medications if needed.

Bug Bites and Stings

Bee, wasp and hornet stings, spider bites, jelly fish stings - yikes! Our practitioners can help when you have a painful bite. Reactions can range from mild to severe and multiple stings can be serious, especially in children. We can provide a proper assessment, clean the site of the sting to prevent infection and recommend the proper treatment plan to deal with itching and swelling.

Cholesterol Screening

1 in 6 adult Americans have high cholesterol and don't know it. High cholesterol does not usually display symptoms, and it is a risk factor that can increase your chance of developing or suffering complications from serious health problems such as heart disease and stroke. A screening can help identify if you have high cholesterol and our practitioners can provide recommendations if you do.

DOT Physicals

We perform DOT physical exams on a daily basis. Our location is easy to access for large commercial vehicles. We perform a thorough physical exam at our location, and assist drivers in making referrals for further testing when necessary.rnrnIt is our goal to help you get back on the road as quickly as possible. Being prepared for your exam helps make that possible.rnrn-If you are on any prescription medications, please be sure to take your medications the day of the exam, and bring a list of your medications with you.rn-If you have a heart condition (history of heart attack, stroke, stent placement, pacemaker, open heart surgery, etc), you will be required to have a clearance letter from your cardiologist. DOT guidelines may also require additional testing based on your condition. Give us a call prior to your exam, so we can assist you making sure you have everything needed for a quick certification!rn-If you have been diagnosed with diabetes, please bring a copy of your latest Hemoglobin A1C test, along with a list of your medications. We will be happy to perform the testing for you, or contact your primary care provider for records, but this will delay your certification.rn-Call our clinic at any time if you have questions about the exam.

Imaging Evaluation

Have an injury or pain, but don't want to sit in the ER for hours? Come let us evaluate your injury, get your pain under control, and order the necessary testing. We are able to write orders for imaging, including xray, ultrasound, CT & MRI. We will review the results and refer you for the necessary management if needed.

Minor Burns

A minor burn affects the outer layer of the skin and can be red, swollen and painful. Hot liquids, fire, chemicals and even the sun can cause a minor burn. We can assess your burn and recommend the proper pain reliever or cream. We can also prescribe antibiotics if the burn is infected and provide a tetanus shot if needed.

Motion Sickness Prevention

Motion sickness is a common ailment that many experience, especially while traveling. Let us help you prevent motion sickness before it starts. We can provide a customized treatment plan, recommend the right over-the-counter products, and write prescriptions when medically appropriate. All to help you prepare before you hit the road.
